Robert Wallace is a previous recipient of NC Arts Council and Durham Arts Council grants. He has published stories in the Raleigh News & Observer, the Bryant Literary Review, and the O. Henry Festival stories, among other publications and anthologies. He lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife and daughter. "A Hold on Time" is his first novel.
